Our client, a leader in industrial automation and control systems, is seeking a Systems Engineer III to join their team. As a Systems Engineer III, you will be part of the engineering department supporting control systems development and deployment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Systems Engineer III

Location: Seattle, WA

Pay Range: $72/Hour on Experis W2

Contract: 4-24 months

What's the Job?

  • Support for continued Robotic Product support and backfill for departing engineers
  • Scaling deployment base and automating system conditioning processes
  • Implementing auto recovery mechanisms from errors and refactoring code for efficiency
  • Collaborating with an innovative robotics team working on complex projects involving human-touch item manipulation
  • Developing and integrating control systems, including PLC and HMI applications, with various industrial components

What's Needed?

  • 5-7 years of experience in control systems development and deployment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • In-depth knowledge of developing control systems, including PLC and HMI applications
  • Experience integrating components like drives, barcode readers, and remote sensors
  • Proficiency in multiple IEC 61131-3 languages and basic network troubleshooting skills for industrial networks such as Ethercat, Ethernet/IP, Profibus/Profinet
