Senior Freight Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Senior Freight Coordinator to join their team. As a Senior Freight Coordinator, you will be part of the Supply Chain Operations supporting transportation and logistics teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:
Work Location : hybrid / NYC must report into office 2x per week
Work Schedule: FT Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm

Pay Range: 30 W2

What's the Job?

• Coordinate outbound transportation operations, partnering with 3PLs, carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure service excellence.
• Manage daily transportation activities including shipment tracking, ETA management, and delivery updates.
• Analyze transportation performance data, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Resolve operational challenges such as delays, damages, and reroutes, serving as a point of escalation.
• Support international export shipments, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.

What's Needed?

• College degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in supply chain, logistics, or freight management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with BI tools like Power BI is highly beneficial.
• Experience working with ERP, OMS, and TMS systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
