Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Reporting & Data Analyst (Charlotte, Pennington, Jersey City, Kennesaw) to join their dynamic team. As a Reporting & Data Analyst, you will be an essential part of the Data Analytics Department supporting strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Reporting & Data Analyst 

Location: Charlotte, NC/ Jersey City, NJ/ Pennington, NJ/Kennesaw, GA (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)

Position type: 12-18 months 

Pay Range: $45 - $47.82/hr on W2

What's the Job?

  • Provide end-to-end production support for metric reporting routines used by senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain high-quality dashboards and reports that are error-free and visually compelling.
  • Perform data mining, aggregation, and analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential risks.
  • Develop and optimize macros, VBA, and SQL queries to streamline reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery of reports.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 5+ years of advanced Excel experience, including macros, power queries, and VBA.
  • At least 5+ years of moderate to advanced SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
  • 7+ years of experience in data mining and analytics, with a proven ability to dissect and simplify complex data sets.
  • Strong track record of delivering accurate reports on time, with proactive identification and resolution of macro or code issues.
  • Experience working within highly regulated industries or financial institutions, with prior interaction with senior management preferred.
