Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data solutions sector, is seeking an Engineer 5 - Contingent to join their team. As an Engineer 5 - Contingent, you will be part of the Data Engineering Department supporting innovative analytics and AI-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Fabric.
• Create reusable ETL and ELT pipelines to move data from various enterprise sources into governed analytical data stores.
• Optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processing routines for performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data models supporting Power BI, Excel, and AI-assisted analysis workflows.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate data analysis, code development, and documentation processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

What's Needed?

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, database engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency in advanced SQL development and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms, especially Microsoft Fabric or similar.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data modeling, including Medallion methodology and repository-driven standards.
• Practical experience integrating diverse data sources such as Excel, APIs, files, and web-based data.
