Factory IT Support Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Factory IT Support Technician to join their team. As a Factory IT Support Technician, you will be part of the Factory IT Support team supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a strong service orientation, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Factory IT Support Technician

Location: Bloomington, MN (Onsite)

Pay Range: $28.75

What's the Job?

• Support factory IT operations at wafer manufacturing sites, including Springtown and Normandale.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot factory PCs and related systems according to established standards.
• Ensure security compliance by applying patches, updates, and managing endpoint security measures.
• Respond promptly to help desk tickets, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to support system upgrades, projects, and planned maintenance activities.

What's Needed?

• Experience with PC setup, installation, and troubleshooting on Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience supporting factory or manufacturing IT environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of service management tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar platforms is advantageous.
