Custom Solutions Production Technician

Our client, a custom manufacturing and mechanical solutions provider, is seeking a Custom Solutions Production Technician to join their team. As a Custom Solutions Production Technician, you will be part of the production and fabrication group supporting hands-on custom fluid and gas system builds. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical problem-solving, the ability to read and interpret basic 2D prints or CAD drawings, and a quality-first mindset that keeps work accurate from measurement to final testing.

Location:Indianapolis, Indiana

Pay Range:$50,000 - $70,000 Direct Hire

What's the Job?

• Assemble, fabricate, and test custom fluid and gas system solutions using hand tools and specialized fabrication equipment.
• Interpret 2D multi-view engineering prints, 3D CAD models, and catalog assembly guides to build assemblies that match the design intent.
• Use tools such as wrenches, sockets, Swagelok tube benders, cold saws, facing tools, and CNC tube bending equipment to produce accurate components.
• Perform pressure and helium leak-testing to verify system integrity and follow established quality procedures.
• Apply judgment and mechanical creativity when real-world components or drawings don’t align perfectly, while staying coachable and collaborative.

What's Needed?

• Mechanical aptitude with comfort using hand tools and working through hands-on fabrication and assembly tasks.
• Ability to read a tape measure and work with fine measurements (including micrometer use when required).
• Basic print-reading skills, including interpreting 2D prints or CAD drawings to guide fabrication and assembly.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with others and follow quality expectations.
• Openness to coaching and training, including learning specialized equipment and procedures.
