Custom Assembly Technician Indianapolis, IN

Our client, Custom Solutions Production Technician is seeking a Custom Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Custom Assembly Technician, you will be part of the Production team supporting custom and one-off builds. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read technical drawings and basic CAD, and a collaborative mindset that supports quality and safety.

Pay Range:$50000 - $75000

What's the Job?

• Assemble custom fluid and gas system solutions using mechanical judgment and hands-on fabrication skills
• Read and interpret 2D technical drawings and 3D CAD models to determine dimensions, components, fit, and assembly requirements
• Measure, fabricate, and assemble tubing and mechanical components using tools such as wrenches, sockets, tube benders, cold saws, and facing tools
• Perform pressure testing and helium leak testing to verify system integrity
• Troubleshoot and adapt when components or drawings don’t align, while following quality and safety procedures

What's Needed?

• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and work to tight tolerances
• Ability to interpret 2D technical prints and basic 3D CAD models
• Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and willingness to take direction using good judgment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative shop environment
