Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Scrum Master to join their team. As a Scrum Master, you will be part of the IT department supporting multiple enterprise development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proactive initiative, and deep Agile delivery experience, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Scrum Master
Location:Owings Mills, MD (In-office: 2 days per week)
Pay Range: $70 - $75/hr W2
What's the Job?
- Lead and support two high-profile IT project teams in Agile methodologies
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Track, monitor, and communicate team velocity, sprint progress, and delivery metrics
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure backlog readiness and prioritization
- Drive Agile best practices, remove impediments, and foster continuous improvement within teams
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of IT experience with proven Scrum Master responsibilities
- Expertise using Rally for Agile project management
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
