Our client, a leading organization in the Life Sciences sector, is seeking a Lead LIMS Engineer to join their team. As a Lead LIMS Engineer, you will be part of the Laboratory Informatics Department supporting R&D, Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) within a regulated environment.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define system architecture, standards, and governance frameworks for LabVantage LIMS.
  • Drive platform modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across global teams.
  • Oversee complex system configurations, customizations, and integrations using APIs, web services, and middleware.
  • Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ALCOA+, and other regulatory standards while supporting validation and CSV procedures.

What's Needed?

  • 10+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting LIMS platforms, especially LabVantage.
  • Deep expertise in LabVantage architecture, workflows, forms, and platform administration.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise LIMS projects, upgrades, and system modernization efforts.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory operations across R&D, QC, Stability, Manufacturing, and Regulatory functions.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations using APIs, web services, and middleware.
