Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Business Analyst- Payments to join their team. As a Business Analyst- Payments, you will be part of the Payments Support Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $50-55/hr. on W2

What's the Job?

  • Act as a liaison between the business client and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems
  • Lead requirements elicitation sessions to understand business problems and how proposed system enhancements address them while assessing impact to existing functionality and business processes
  • Lead or participate in grooming sessions, author user stories, attend sizing sessions, and provide feedback in retrospectives
  • Produce comprehensive business requirement artifacts including Use Cases, Business and Message Rules, User Stories, and Validation Plans, collaborating with stakeholders on large and complex projects
  • Engage throughout the project lifecycle, from inception through post-install transition, ensuring successful implementation and adoption

What's Needed?

  • Experience with using AI tools to capture business requirements and accelerate work processes
  • Demonstrated ability to define, measure, and achieve business outcomes by establishing baseline metrics and tracking progress
  • Experience working with applications such as J-Systems, Ops Online (1CBR), PYPP, 1CWK, GMTS, or EMTS
  • Business Analyst experience with a focus on payments within ISO20022, Wires, SWIFT, ACH, Sanctions, Investigations, or electronic payments
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including writing user stories, using Jira and Confluence, and implementing continuous integration and delivery
