Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Core Java Developer (DE) x2 to join their dynamic team. As a Core Java Developer (DE) x2, you will be part of the Application Support and Development department supporting critical production systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Develop and maintain core Java applications supporting high-volume transaction processing.
  • Perform issue analysis, debugging, and triage to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Support release management and deployment activities to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Engage in API integration, testing, and documentation to facilitate seamless system interactions.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience with Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, UML, and system architecture.
  • Experience with J2EE, App Servers (Websphere, Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat), and Spring frameworks.
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP Web services, XML processing, and related frameworks.
  • Familiarity with version control, continuous integration tools, and database systems.
