Job Title: Sr. Digital Product Owner - Banking 

Location: Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN

 

Job Summary
The Sr. Product Owner - Banking/Cash Management provides strategic leadership over digital product initiatives in the client's business within Wealth Management. This role drives the product strategy, innovation, and delivery of cash management solutions—including Bill Pay, Money Movement (ACH/Wires), checking accounts, and debit cards—to strengthen platform and client experience.
 
Primary Responsibilities
 
Strategic Leadership

  • Define digital product strategy for banking products, including cash management accounts, money movement, and checking/debit card services
  • Establish product roadmaps aligned with lending business goals and customer needs
Team Leadership & Development
  • Coach cross-functional teams on product strategy, regulatory requirements, and banking industry best practices
Portfolio & Financial Management
  • Oversee banking product portfolio performance and ROI
  • Manage budget for technology used for banking products
Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
  • Communicate product performance, market insights, and competitive positioning to Banking & Lending leadership
Process & Governance
  • Establish product management frameworks aligned with banking regulations and RBC governance standards

 

Experience Required

  • 7+ years of product management experience in financial services (banking, lending, or consumer finance)
  • 5+ years leading product management teams
  • Proven track record delivering products in highly regulated banking environments, with hands on experience in cash management and payment systems
  • Strong understanding of banking industry and lending operations
  • Experience navigating regulatory compliance, risk management, and consumer protection in financial services
  • Excellent strategic thinking and executive communication abilities
  • Deep knowledge of agile and digital product development methodologies
