Industrial Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leader in industrial research and development, is seeking an Industrial Laboratory Technician  to join their team. As an Industrial Laboratory Technician , you will be part of the R&D department supporting innovative product development and testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Laboratory Technician 

Location: Maplewood, Minnesota  100% onsite

Pay Range: $18 to $25 p/h on w-2
Duration : 12 month contract

What's the Job?

  • Perform technical activities related to R&D and material testing on a program basis under moderate supervision.
  • Initiate and complete technical activities leading to the development of new or improved test methods.
  • Establish and maintain a network of support to facilitate the completion of assignments.
  • Document experimental data and observations accurately in electronic formats and prepare reports as needed.
  • Support routine sample preparation, analysis, chemical inventory management, and instrument calibration and maintenance.

What's Needed?

  • BA/BS degree in chemistry or related field with 3+ years of industrial laboratory experience.
  • Proficiency in Titration, Inductively Coupled Plasma, and Ion Chromatography techniques.
  • Experience in sample preparation, including stock solutions, standards, dilutions, and pipetting accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and adaptability to new software and instrument systems.
