Maintenance Inventory Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in chemical production, is seeking a Maintenance Inventory Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Inventory Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the engineering and maintenance functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Inventory Technician

Location: Cordova, Illinois

Pay Range: $18 to $20
Duration :12 month contract

What's the Job?

• Organize and maintain spare parts inventory to ensure efficient operations
• Accurately document equipment information, including part numbers, serial numbers, and manufacturer details
• Participate in safety and regulatory training to uphold safety standards
• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and wear required PPE during work activities
• Enter labor time into maintenance work orders with detailed issue descriptions

What's Needed?

• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance support, production, or inventory roles within a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience as a maintenance helper or in a production setting is preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude, including identifying parts on industrial equipment such as pumps and motors
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Basic to intermediate computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel
