What's the Job?
- Lead the development and implementation of SRE best practices to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Generate and maintain Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and error budgets to monitor and improve service quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design blameless post-mortems, role-playing scenarios, and error handling strategies.
- Support offshore teams by providing guidance and ensuring adherence to reliability standards.
- Influence and shape the culture and approach of the SRE team, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
What's Needed?
- Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related roles, with the ability to start SRE tasks from the ground up.
- Strong coding skills in any programming language, with a background in development or DevOps being advantageous.
- Understanding of SLI/SLOs, NALSD, and experience in generating and maintaining reliability metrics.
- Excellent soft skills, including confidence in storytelling and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders.
- Inquisitive mindset with a passion for driving system reliability and improving customer experience.
