Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and distribution industry, is seeking a Inventory Control Analyst II to join their team. As a Inventory Control Analyst II, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department supporting inventory management and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Chicago, IL

Pay Range: $43/hr

What's the Job?

  • Schedule and revise shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customers.
  • Analyze inventory levels, production speed, and product demand to determine reorder points, ensuring product availability while minimizing inventory costs.
  • Write inventory reports, perform cycle counts, and determine periodic asset valuations to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Work with moderate supervision, applying knowledge and skills to perform basic inventory decisions and complex analysis.
  • Support inventory systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with controls, standards, and management systems.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Inventory Management.
  • Proficiency with SAP Materials Management and Order to Cash functions is desired.
  • Excellent problem-solving and data analytics skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools, including reporting and data validation.
