Our client, a manufacturing and research organization, is seeking a Materials Technician to join their team. As a Materials Technician, you will be part of the Laboratory Support team supporting research, development, and quality control processes. The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, adaptability, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Maplewood, MN
Pay Range:$20 to $22
Duration: 12 month contract
What's the Job?
- Perform physical and mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
- Assist with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting test results.
- Prepare materials and organize for product testing.
- Conduct hands-on tests with multiple pieces of equipment and evaluate new materials and products based on research.
- Test or visually observe product samples from competitors and communicate test results to the appropriate requester.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work 8-4, Monday through Friday.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 25 pounds and perform high repetitions with 5-pound weights.
- Ability to stand for 2 or more hours and bend multiple times throughout the day.
- Proficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
