Stockroom Associate

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and research support industry, is seeking a Stockroom Associate  to join their team. As a Stockroom Associate , you will be part of the Supply Chain Support team supporting inventory management and stockroom operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong follow-up skills, and a customer-focused mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Stockroom Associate 

Location: Maplewood, MN (100% onsite)

Pay Range: $18 to $20
Duration:12 month contract 

What's the Job?

  • Manage and support three non-chemical RSS Stockrooms at the Maplewood MN campus.
  • Pull together orders based on stockroom needs, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Verify receipt of all orders, organize inventory, and update relevant paperwork.
  • Handle returns, request credits from suppliers, and monitor back order items.
  • Maintain stockroom safety, cleanliness, and organization to support operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable managing daily tasks and handling projects as they arise.
  • Effective communication skills for email and in-person interactions with vendors, customers, and colleagues.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks such as inventory stocking, cleaning, and sweeping.
  • Experience with purchasing, SAP, SDSs, or inventory management is a plus.
