Our client, a leading organization in the veterinary healthcare industry, is seeking a passionate and strategic Director of Real Estate to join their team. As a Director of Real Estate, you will be part of the Real Estate Department supporting the expansion and optimization of veterinary hospital locations across the United States. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$165,000 - $195,000
What's the Job?
- Develop and execute comprehensive real estate strategies supporting new hospital builds, relocations, and expansions.
- Identify and source new site opportunities through market analysis, broker relationships, and direct outreach efforts.
- Lead all real estate transactions, including lease negotiations, renewals, restructures, and dispositions, in collaboration with legal teams.
- Oversee the full development lifecycle from site selection to hospital opening, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Partner with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Finance, and Facilities to align real estate initiatives with operational and financial goals.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial real estate, development, or related fields with a proven track record of multi-site growth initiatives.
- Strong lease negotiation skills and experience structuring complex deal transactions.
- Experience leading development and construction projects from site selection through delivery.
- Excellent financial and analytical skills, including real estate math and deal evaluation.
- Ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams effectively.
