Our client is seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to help build and scale the North American finance organization during a critical transformation period.
This is not a traditional oversight role. We're looking for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building processes from the ground up, and can operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Pay: 70-80/hr
What You'll Do
- Partner closely with the Controller on day-to-day controllership activities
- Manage intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and royalty cross-charges
- Support statutory reporting, audits, and compliance activities
- Drive Record-to-Report (R2R) and Source-to-Pay (S2P/P2P) processes
- Partner with tax, treasury, shared services, and business stakeholders
- Support ERP implementation and finance infrastructure build-out
- Assist with carve-out and TSA transition activities
What We're Looking For
- CPA required
- 3-6+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Experience in controllership, Record-to-Report, or Assistant Controller functions
- Strong background in intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and royalty accounting
- Experience supporting Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay processes
- Solid understanding of US GAAP
- ERP experience (SAP or Dynamics preferred)
- Big 4/public accounting experience is a plus
- Experience within a carve-out, shared services, PE-backed, or high-growth environment is highly desirable
