We are looking for:

  • Experienced technical product manager with strong data background and who is curious, empathetic, and data-driven, and can apply those skills to the delivery of technology solutions.
What is the work?
  • Manages activities that drive product development and delivery at the team / department level, and across departments; serves as dedicated owner of a set of related products, typically strategically- or thematically related while working independently with limited oversight.
  • Serves as subject matter expert on owned product area(s), related product area(s), and department.
  • Guides vision; coordinates cross-functional teams of Partners / suppliers.
  • Explores / validates and executes with little pre-defined solutions; makes independent decisions based on analysis, experience, judgment.
  • Collaborates with internal Data Engineering and Analytics teams to understand their migration roadmaps, mapping customer requirements directly into platform capabilities.
  • Builds and owns the platform roadmap, prioritizing self-service automation, integration standards, and migration tooling to unblock engineering teams.
  • Accesses / organizes data; builds analyses to understand financial impact of business opportunity and proposed solutions.
  • Works closely with customers, Product Managers, Design, and Engineering Partners to drive entire technology product lifecycle.
  • Ensure frictionless adoption of GCP, BigQuery, ingestion tools and standard capabilities by championing the developer experience.
  • Manages relationships with key stakeholders to drive and enhance the product vision and strategy.
  • Drives teams to demonstrate high velocity, efficiency, and morale; ensures team consistently meets commitments.
  • Flexes existing processes to maximize outcomes; identifies critical risks and dependencies; anticipates / resolves critical team issues with little escalation.
  • Creates quantitative data analysis and modeling to inform outcomes; constructs methods / metrics to identify product team successes and failures.
  • Tracks and establishes platform success metrics (e.g., Time-to-Value, platform adoption rates, and migration velocity) to run the platform as an internal SaaS product.
What is your background?
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager/Owner specifically managing Internal Developer Platforms, Data Infrastructure, or Cloud Migration initiatives.
  • Deep familiarity with Cloud Native Architectures (GCP/AWS) and Data/AI Ecosystems (specifically BigQuery, Airflow, Pub/Sub etc)
  • Strong negotiating and interpersonal skills
  • Strong influencing, collaborating, and active listening skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Advanced analytical skills (SQL)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of voice of the customer techniques and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills
  • Strong Agile / Scrum skills
  • Ability to leverage data to tell a meaningful story
  • Ability to break down complex problems into components and reassemble them to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ability to affect change, adaptability
  • Motivated to independently achieve results
  • Strong leadership to support driving quarterly/monthly deliverables and proactively manage cross-team technical dependencies.
