Project Quality Manager Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a Project Quality Manager Specialist to join their team. As a Project Quality Manager Specialist, you will be part of the North America Cross Car Line organization supporting the Top Hat, Platform, and Modules teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Quality Manager Specialist

Location: Auburn Hills, MI (Onsite)

Pay Range: $25/hr - $27/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform root cause analysis of quality issues using advanced problem-solving tools such as Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin Red X, and Design of Experiments.
• Recommend and implement cost-effective, permanent corrective actions to resolve vehicle quality concerns.
• Analyze quality data from internal and external indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage engineering changes in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and compliance.
• Conduct product evaluation tests to verify robustness before full implementation and serve as the point of contact for engineering quality incidents.

What's Needed?

• Experience in managing cross-functional teams within automotive engineering, manufacturing, or quality landscapes.
• Strong communication skills to support meetings at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
• Proven ability to develop and execute standardization initiatives in a lean environment.
• High-energy, hands-on approach with a strong sense of integrity and leadership presence.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and establish internal and external partnerships.
