Security Analyst

Our client is seeking a Security Analyst to join their team. As a Security Analyst, you will be part of the IT Security Department supporting the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to security challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Manage and operate the agency's IT Security Program, ensuring robust security measures are in place.
• Administer security tools such as CrowdStrike, Tenable, and Zscaler with expert knowledge.
• Conduct IT security risk assessments and develop remediation strategies.
• Research vendor offerings, conduct proof of concepts, and implement new security technologies.
• Monitor asset inventory, vulnerability dashboards, and policy violations, producing reports and metrics.

What's Needed?

• 4 to 7 years of experience in IT Security.
• Expert knowledge of CrowdStrike administration.
• Expert knowledge of Tenable administration.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current Wisconsin residency; local candidates preferred, no relocation allowed.
