Our client, a leader in the medical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Engineering Laboratory Technician to join their team. As an Engineering Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the MedSurg AWC Systems supporting engineering and testing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Engineering Laboratory Technician
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Pay Range: $18 to $22 p/h on w-2
Contract till the end of the year
What's the Job?
- Follow written procedures, protocols, work instructions, or test methods during testing activities.
- Document results accurately and maintain comprehensive records of testing processes.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and problem-solving to support testing and quality assurance.
- Operate laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, or data acquisition systems.
- Support testing of electronic devices, embedded systems, software-controlled products, or electromechanical systems.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience operating laboratory test equipment and testing electronic or electromechanical systems.
- Ability to follow detailed written procedures and work independently after training.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project teams.
