Workday Payroll Lead

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Workday Payroll Lead to join their dynamic team. As a Workday Payroll Lead, you will be an integral part of the payroll and financial operations supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to integrity, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Workday Payroll Lead
Location: Remote
Duration: 10+ months with highly possible extension / conversion
W-2 Contract | No Sponsorship: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

What's the Job?

• Lead payroll configuration and oversee payroll accounting processes within Workday
• Manage Phase 2 implementation, including FIN and Payroll parallel testing
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless payroll operations
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial and payroll regulations
• Provide expert guidance and support during system upgrades and process improvements

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
• Workday Financials certification required
• Minimum of 3 implementations experience in Workday Payroll
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly
