Staff Attorney

Staff Attorney- Cable Company- 75k-120k ( on-site)Chester, NY

 Premier cable company seeking a Staff Attorney to join their legal compliance team.  

Key Responsibilities
Provide timely legal advice and counsel on a broad range of business, regulatory, employment, commercial, marketing, consumer protection, and operational matters.

• Structure, draft, review, revise, and negotiate contracts, agreements, policies, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis using traditional and technology-enabled research platforms, including AI-assisted legal research and document review tools, while independently validating legal conclusions.
• Advise business stakeholders regarding developments in applicable laws, regulations, administrative guidance, and case law impacting the telecommunications and broadband industry.
• Utilize AI-enabled productivity, document review, contract analysis, and legal knowledge management tools to enhance efficiency 
• Partner with outside counsel on litigation, regulatory, employment, commercial, and other legal matters.
• Support interactions with federal, state, and local legislative and regulatory bodies.
• Required Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• .One to five years legal experience preferred

Experience supporting regulated industries, telecommunications, broadband, media, or technology companies.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted legal research, contract lifecycle management systems, legal operations platforms, and document automation technologies.
