Platform Engineer

Our banking client is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Platform Engineer, you will be part of the cloud platform operations supporting innovative AI and data modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, hands-on technical expertise, and systems thinking, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Platform Engineer

Location: Irving, Texas (hybrid - open to Columbus, OH as well)

Pay Range: 70-80/hr W2
(Due to client rules, we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors; all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2)

Duration: 12+ month contract role

What's Needed?

• Experience with platform management: Manage cloud platform operations, including release management and configuration management.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and at least one additional language such as Golang, Rust, or JavaScript.
• Experience supporting scalable platforms and AI/GenAI use cases.
• Knowledge of regulated environments and cybersecurity is a plus.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience with systems thinking and cloud-native development.
