Our client, a leading organization in the technology and cybersecurity sector, is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be part of the IT and Security Department supporting the cybersecurity initiatives across cloud environments, vulnerability management, logging, endpoint security, and security tooling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Location: Remote anywhere in the U.S.

Pay Range: $70-80/hr

What's the Job?

  • Perform comprehensive security assessments and hardening of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments including IAM, networking, compute, storage, and SaaS integrations.
  • Partner with internal teams to remediate identified security gaps and deploy security best practices.
  • Implement and manage cloud security tooling including Wiz CSPM and CrowdStrike integrations.
  • Design and build secure Kubernetes/container security platforms within GCP.
  • Develop container image governance, vulnerability scanning, and runtime protection capabilities.

What's Needed?

  • 7+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
  • Deep experience securing cloud-first environments.
  • Strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security expertise.
  • Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon.
  • Knowledge of SIEM, centralized logging, and cloud security monitoring.
