Business System Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Business System Analyst to join their team. As a Business System Analyst, you will be part of the Business Analysis department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Business System Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL

What's the Job?

• Perform project level scope decomposition and planning to ensure clear deliverables
• Gather, analyze, and document detailed requirements for users, data, UI applications, and APIs
• Identify and manage dependencies across cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless project execution
• Understand data architecture to navigate ambiguous requests and suggest effective solutions
• Translate complex requirements into clear, consumable documentation and facilitate large group sessions with stakeholders

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Proficiency in requirements elicitation, documentation, and lifecycle management
• Strong facilitation skills with large stakeholder groups and executive stakeholders
• Knowledge of data architecture and ability to analyze data and application suites
• Experience with AI-assisted tooling for requirements analysis and documentation is a plus
