Formal Verification Engineer

Our client in the semiconductor industry, is seeking a Formal Verification Engineer to join their team. As a Formal Verification Engineer, you will be part of the Verification Department supporting ASIC and SoC verification efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Formal Verification Engineer

Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, CA /100% remote is available only for a strong candidate.

Pay Range: $70 to $80 on W2

What's the Job?

• Participate in the functional verification of complex ASICs and IP cores for CPU/GPU development projects.
• Collaborate with design and verification teams to understand and verify design functionality within the system context.
• Develop, execute, and document formal verification plans, including directed and constrained-random tests.
• Utilize industry-standard verification methodologies and tools to ensure design correctness.
• Drive verification activities from planning through signoff, ensuring thorough coverage and defect resolution.

What's Needed?

• 8+ years of proven experience in formal verification, RTL verification, and validation.
• Strong knowledge of formal verification methodologies, property checking, and model checking tools.
• Hands-on experience with formal verification tools and verification infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of ASIC or SoC verification environments and architectures.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
