Our client, a leader in enterprise technology infrastructure, is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting the core network infrastructure and data center operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA - Fully Remote
Pay Range: $52.hr - $56.hr on Experis W2 (Benefits/PTO/401k)

→ Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or data center network environments.
→ Experience with lab network infrastructure and network operations.
→ Proven ability to independently execute network move, add, and change (MAC) requests.
→ Experience performing network upgrades, infrastructure maintenance, and operational support in production environments.
→ Familiarity with Microsoft enterprise networking environments.
→ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex network environments.
→ Experience working with standardized network deployment and operational processes.
→ Ability to ramp up quickly and collaborate effectively with engineering teams in a remote environment.
Required Candidate Preparation: validating whether candidates can independently perform the operational network engineering work his team handles day to day. Specifically, candidates should expect questions around:
- Enterprise and data center networking experience.
- Supporting Microsoft's on-premises network infrastructure and lab networking environments.
- Network Move, Add, and Change (MAC) requests.
- Network operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Infrastructure upgrades and operational support activities.
Ability to work independently and execute networking work items with minimal oversight

What's the Job?
- Manage and support Microsoft's enterprise on-premises data center network infrastructure and lab networking environments.
- Execute network move, add, and change (MAC) requests and operational work items independently.
- Perform network maintenance, upgrades, and infrastructure support activities to ensure service reliability.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex network issues and document operational procedures.
- Support the onboarding of new services and contribute to strategic network initiatives.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise or data center network environments.
- Proven ability to independently execute network MAC requests and operational support tasks.
- Experience with network upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting in production environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft enterprise networking environments and lab network infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
