Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, enterprise switching, network automation, and network troubleshooting.
The engineer will design, configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across data center and campus environments. A major focus of this role is developing automation solutions using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, and network programmability to improve network provisioning, configuration, troubleshooting, reliability, and scalability.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working hands-on with networking technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Dell, Arista, or Juniper and should have strong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure.
• Work extensively with Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching technologies.
• Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, STP, VTP, PortChannel, VRRP, MC-LAG, and routing protocols.
• Work with routing protocols including OSPF and BGP.
• Develop and implement network automation solutions.
• Automate network provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Use Python, Ansible, REST APIs, or similar automation technologies.
• Manage network performance, availability, capacity, and security.
• Support both data center and campus network environments.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in network deployments, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, operations, and other cross-functional teams.
• Maintain network diagrams, documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Participate in change management, incident response, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate emerging network technologies and recommend solutions based on business requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on network hardware, software, and services.
• Provide technical guidance and support to customers, leadership, and engineering teams.
• Perform network vulnerability and security risk assessments.
• Develop project plans, schedules, technical documentation, and implementation plans.

• 5+ years of Network Engineering experience.
• Strong Layer 2/Layer 3 networking experience.
• Strong enterprise switching and routing experience.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • VLAN
  • STP
  • VTP
  • PortChannel / EtherChannel
  • VRRP
  • MC-LAG
  • OSPF
  • BGP
• Network automation experience using Python and/or Ansible.
• Experience with REST APIs and network programmability.
• Strong TCP/IP knowledge.
• DNS and DHCP knowledge.
• Network security fundamentals.
• Strong network troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Experience with one or more major networking platforms:
  • Cisco
  • Dell
  • Arista
  • Juniper
• Enterprise data center and/or campus networking experience.
