Our client, an industry leader in third-party administration of employee benefits, is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their team. As a Software Development Engineer, you will be part of the software development department supporting the engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Seattle, Washington
Pay Range:$140,000 - $150,000
What's the Job?
- Build high performance, highly available, and reliable software solutions.
- Develop complex components, modules, and scripts using .NET technologies.
- Design, build, and maintain proprietary desktop and web-based applications, balancing active feature development with critical production support.
- Utilize modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, improve test coverage, and streamline debugging workflows.
- Architect and implement Agentic AI patterns and workflows to enhance automation, process efficiency, and intelligent data handling.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, Math, Information Systems, Physics, or related fields.
- 6+ years of relevant software design and development experience with strong .NET Core / modern .NET experience.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in T-SQL coding, including writing and troubleshooting complex queries and stored procedures.
- Experience implementing Agentic AI frameworks, LLM integrations, or intelligent autonomous agents, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
