Our client is seeking a Automation Engineer to join their team. As a Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Security and Automation Department supporting AI-driven code security and remediation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Hybrid - New York, NY - Must be able to attend a F2F interview

What's the Job?

  • Build and operate systems that scan repositories for vulnerabilities and outdated libraries.
  • Implement AI-driven automation to remediate security findings efficiently.
  • Integrate scanning and fixing pipelines into CI/CD workflows using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track security coverage and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security protocols and automation processes.

What's Needed?

  • Proficiency in Python programming, with experience in scripting and API integration.
  • Hands-on experience with source and artifact management systems such as GitHub and JFrog Artifactory/Xray.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools like Snyk, Xray, CodeQL, Dependabot, Trivy, or Semgrep.
  • Understanding of CVE/CVSS scoring systems and EOL-detection sources.
  • Experience in building AI-driven workflows for security remediation and prompt engineering.
