As a key contributor in the Safety and Compliance Department supporting cross-functional teams, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of cutting-edge robotic vehicles. What's the Job?

  • Identify hazards and risks using Systems Theoretic Process Analysis (STPA) to ensure safety in autonomous vehicle systems.
  • Support the development of safety requirements and integrate safety measures throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to allocate safety requirements and verify safety compliance.
  • Review safety verification and validation activities, including testing and simulation efforts.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive safety documentation, including safety plans, cases, and reports.

What's Needed?

  • Understanding of Functional Safety lifecycles and relevant safety standards such as ISO 25119, ISO 13849, IEC 61508.
  • Experience conducting safety analyses like FMEA, FTA, and STPA.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure safety requirements are integrated into design and development.
  • Strong documentation skills to prepare safety plans, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Proactive attitude towards staying current with advancements in functional safety and autonomous vehicle technologies.
