Our client is seeking a dedicated UniVerse Development Engineer to join their innovative team. As a UniVerse Development Engineer, you will be an integral part of the software development department supporting various technical projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and enhance applications using Universe BASIC and Universe Multi-Value databases.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems utilizing technologies such as HTTP, XML, and RPC.
• Analyze and extend complex legacy and custom-developed codebases to improve functionality and performance.
• Develop solutions based on detailed functional and technical specifications to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure quality and efficiency.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of current, hands-on development experience with Universe BASIC and Universe Multi-Value databases.
• Proven track record in developing new functionality and application enhancements, focusing on innovation and quality.
• Experience integrating Universe applications with external systems via HTTP, XML, RPC, or similar technologies.
• Ability to learn, maintain, and enhance custom applications developed by others effectively.
• Experience working within formal SDLC processes and adhering to development standards.
