Network Device Security Test Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the telecommunications and networking industry, is seeking a Network Device Security Test Engineer to join their team. As a Network Device Security Test Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the security validation of networking devices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Philadelphia, PA (Onsite)

What's the Job?

• Conduct security testing and validation of broadband CPE devices, home gateways, routers, DOCSIS, Wi-Fi, and RDK-based devices.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Utilize the Automatics Test Framework to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
• Document test results and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.

What's Needed?

• Experience in QA, test automation, and security validation of networking devices.
• Experience with RDK-B, OpenWrt, or similar embedded Linux platforms.
• Hands-on experience with the Automatics Test Framework.
• Strong understanding of broadband CPE devices, home gateways, routers, DOCSIS, Wi-Fi, or RDK-based devices.
• Proficiency in automated test development using Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
