Our client, a leading organization in the media and entertainment industry, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst – AdTech / Media Analytics to join their team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be part of the Data Strategy Department supporting cross-functional teams including marketing, research, product management, and data engineering. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, curiosity, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Senior Data Analyst – AdTech / Media Analytics
Location: New York, NY - Hybrid flexible
Duration: 6+ months with highly possible extension / conversion
Pay Range: $33 - $36 on w2
What's the Job?
- Lead the development, launch, and evolution of data products that enhance audience targeting, activation, measurement, attribution, and advanced advertising capabilities.
- Partner with stakeholders across Ad Sales, Product, Research, Data Engineering, Data Science, Privacy, and Marketing to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
- Define product requirements, success metrics, and operational processes to support audience monetization and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with teams utilizing proprietary identity, audience, and device graph capabilities to improve addressability and data activation outcomes.
- Design and implement measurement, attribution, and outcome frameworks that connect campaign activation to business results and revenue impact.
What's Needed?
- 3+ years of experience in technology, advertising technology, or media organizations.
- Strong background in data manipulation, analytics, and system analysis with proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Knowledge of key statistics concepts such as hypothesis testing, A/B testing, regression analysis, and anomaly detection.
- Experience with data exploration and visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.
- Familiarity with data warehousing, cloud services (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks), and data clean rooms.
