Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a VP, AI Platform Engineer to join their team. As a VP, AI Platform Engineer, you will be part of the Platform Engineering department supporting innovative AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and collaborative skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:$150,000 - $165,000
What's the Job?
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and compliant AI platforms utilizing Databricks and Azure Cloud Services.
- Develop infrastructure and REST/Websocket-based AI/LLM platform services for various downstream applications.
- Apply standardized MLOps/LLMOps practices for model lifecycle management, observability, and security.
- Create efficient and scalable data pipelines to support AI/ML data requirements.
- Build and maintain robust Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic orchestration layers to enable complex GenAI workflows.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining GenAI or advanced ML models in production environments.
- 3+ years of experience with Python and GenAI frameworks/tools such as Databricks Vector Search, Azure AI Search, LangGraph, haystack, Llama Index, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, embedding models, and RAG implementation methodologies.
- Deep familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps tools, data platforms like Databricks, and cloud platforms.
