Production Support - New Jersey, NJ

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Production Support to join their team. As a you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Finance Regulatory Reporting (FRR) and CRR Data Sourcing/Adoption initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, analytical thinking, and proactive communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Support 

Location: New Jersey, NJ

Pay Range:$60-70/hr
 

What's the Job?

  • Lead day-to-day production support activities across platforms including Informatica, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Unix-based systems.
  • Monitor and maintain the health, availability, and performance of production applications using tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
  • Manage batch scheduling and orchestration using Autosys, Quartz, or Airflow.
  • Own incidents end-to-end, including triage, root cause analysis, resolution, stakeholder communication, and prevention of recurrence.
  • Support core production service functions such as incident & problem management, change & configuration management, and capacity & availability management.

What's Needed?

  • 4 to 10 years of production support experience within financial services, preferably supporting regulatory reporting environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Proficiency with SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Experience with shell scripting, Python, and Perl.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
