Hardware Technician

Our client, a leading innovator in consumer electronics and prototyping, is seeking a Lab Technician, Hardware to join their team. As a Lab Technician, Hardware 1, you will be part of the Surface Development team supporting the prototype center. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician, Hardware 1

Location: Redmond, WA

Pay Range: $30.49 - $32.88

What's the Job?

• Assemble and disassemble laptops and electronic devices using hand tools.
• Install, replace, and rework hardware components with precision.
• Perform functional checks and basic troubleshooting on assembled devices.
• Conduct quality inspections and document any issues or defects.
• Follow engineering instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures diligently.

What's Needed?

• Experience with electronics assembly, laptop repair, or hardware rework.
• Proficiency with small components and precision tools such as screwdrivers and tweezers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to follow technical documentation accurately and work independently.
• Background in engineering or consumer electronics assembly, with hands-on mechanical experience.
