Data Migration QA Engineer

Our client is seeking a Data Migration QA Engineer to join their team. As a Data Migration QA Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting data migration projects and ensuring seamless data integrity and accuracy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Migration QA Engineer

What's the Job?

• Execute comprehensive data migration tests to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Validate test results and perform row count, aggregate, and business rule comparisons
• Track defects through to resolution and support go-live readiness activities
• Assist in post-deployment validation to confirm successful data migration
• Document testing procedures and generate detailed reports for stakeholders

What's Needed?

• Experience in data migration and quality testing
• Proficiency in SQL and reconciliation methods
• Experience with defect management and reporting tools
• Knowledge of data validation techniques and testing automation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
