Embedded Hardware Test Engineer

Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a dedicated Embedded Hardware Test Engineer to join their team. As an Embedded Hardware Test Engineer, you will be part of the Verification and Validation department supporting cross-functional teams. 
 

Job Title: Embedded Hardware Test Engineer

Location:Saint Paul, Minnesota (Onsite)

Pay Range: $30 per hour on W2

What's the Job?

• Support verification and validation of medical device hardware through board-level and system-level testing.
• Translate product requirements into detailed test protocols and develop test setups.
• Execute testing procedures, analyze results, and generate comprehensive test documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance.
• Investigate test failures, troubleshoot issues, and support root-cause analysis activities.

What's Needed?

• 0-2 years of experience in hardware testing, system testing, or related engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, ECE, EEE, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in analog and digital electronics, with the ability to interpret schematics and technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
• Effective communication and technical documentation skills, with the ability to work independently and within teams.
