IAM Engineer 1

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an IAM Engineer 1 to join their team. As an IAM Engineer 1, you will be part of the Information Security department supporting the IT division. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IAM Engineer 

Location: Cottage Grove, Wisconsin

What's the Job?

• Support and enhance digital identity security by administering identity and access management solutions.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Application teams to ensure secure, accurate, and efficient access provisioning.
• Automate identity lifecycle processes, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding, to improve accuracy and reduce manual efforts.
• Maintain the security and reliability of identity platforms such as Active Directory, Entra ID, and Duo Security.
• Monitor, identify, and remediate access anomalies and misconfigurations to reduce security risks.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience within relevant IT roles.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in identity and access management, systems administration, or cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and knowledge of automation tools to support IAM processes.
