Our client, a leading organization in the technology and quality engineering sector, is seeking a passionate and innovative AI + SQE Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an AI + SQE Automation Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Quality Engineering Department supporting the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Analyze business requirements, user stories, APIs, and technical specifications to develop comprehensive test strategies.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot to generate and optimize test cases, scripts, and documentation.
  • Perform AI-assisted test impact analysis to identify affected applications, APIs, and regression scope.
  • Validate data quality, business rules, controls, and compliance requirements to ensure high standards of software quality.

What's Needed?

  • Experience with functional, integration, regression, and API testing within Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and API automation frameworks like REST Assured.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools including GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and prompt engineering techniques.
  • Technical skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python, along with SQL and data validation expertise.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and monitoring tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
