Position Title: Senior Platform Engineer
Location: Onsite: Dallas, TX 75201
Duration: 3+ Months with high possibilities of extension
Pay Range: $60-70/hr on W2

Responsibilities: 
Position Summary
The Senior Platform Engineer will support the Bank's Network Automation platform environment, leading platform lifecycle management, technology upgrades, migrations, infrastructure implementations, automation initiatives, release engineering, and operational support activities. The role requires hands-on expertise across Linux, Python, automation platforms, middleware technologies, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities
•    Lead platform lifecycle management activities, including upgrades, migrations, patching, and technology refresh initiatives.
•    Support and maintain platforms leveraging Linux, Python, Redis, MySQL, Itential, Nautobot, and related technologies.
•    Coordinate testing and implementation of new middleware, automation, and platform releases.
•    Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation activities for platform-related issues.
•    Support infrastructure implementation and environment readiness activities.
•    Drive automation and scripting initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
•    Partner with application, infrastructure, operations, and release teams during platform deployment activities.
•    Support DevOps and release engineering processes including deployment planning, validation, and post-implementation support.
•    Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
•    Communicate platform upgrade impacts and implementation plans to stakeholders.

Required Skills
•    8+ years of Platform Engineering, Middleware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
•    Strong Linux administration experience.
•    Strong Python scripting and automation expertise.
•    Experience supporting Redis and MySQL environments.
•    Experience with Itential, Nautobot, Ansible, or similar automation platforms.
•    Experience with VM provisioning and administration.
•    Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and Release Engineering practices.
•    Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
•    Experience working in large enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills
•    Network Automation experience.
•    Financial Services experience.
•    Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
•    Knowledge of networking concepts and application infrastructure.
