Senior Project Manager Solar

Our client, a leader in renewable energy solutions, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of the NY-Sun Department supporting technical and project management teams. 

Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Remote | Should be based in NYS

Pay Range: $60-$65/HR 

What's the Job?

• Serve as a technical resource to Participating Contractors and customers ensuring safe and code-compliant installation of PV and Storage systems.
• Perform design reviews on submitted project applications, including wiring diagrams, site plans, and shading analysis.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to contractors and installers to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Conduct Quality Assurance inspections and review corrective actions to maintain program standards.
• Stay informed about industry changes, including updates to the National Electric Code and other relevant regulations.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of experience in the solar or electrical construction industry with working knowledge of NYS Uniform Codes.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with contractors, inspectors, and customers.
• Experience in solar or electrical construction, with familiarity in design review and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor's degree required; professional certifications such as NYS Professional Engineer License, NABCEP PV Installation, or UL PV System Installer preferred.
