Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data solutions industry, is seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior AWS Data Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Data Engineering department supporting innovative projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite)
What's the Job?
- Design, develop, and optimize data ingestion programs to process large datasets in batch mode using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, and Databricks.
- Implement advanced SQL queries with query optimization techniques to enhance data retrieval and reporting efficiency.
- Work with large-scale data platforms, ensuring robust and scalable cloud solutions in AWS infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data architecture and modeling strategies aligned with business needs.
- Maintain a strong understanding of security principles, IAM roles, and AWS infrastructure to ensure data protection and compliance.
What's Needed?
- Hands-on programming experience in Python and PySpark for data processing tasks.
- Advanced SQL skills with a focus on query optimization techniques.
- Deep understanding of AWS cloud services, distributed computing paradigms, and infrastructure management.
- Experience working with large-scale data platforms and cloud solutions in AWS.
- Knowledge of DevOps pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab, with strong data modeling and architecture skills.
