Software Development Engineer

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their team. As a Software Development Engineer, you will be part of the Software Engineering Department supporting innovative projects that push the boundaries of computing technology. The ideal candidate will have a problem-solving mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for technology, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Software Development Engineer

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range: $50 on w2 $57 on w2

What's the Job?

• Develop and drive execution of comprehensive, highly effective software for sophisticated new technology and product introduction projects
• Validate new software features before releasing them to customers
• Contribute to a high-functioning feature team
• Collaborate closely with multiple teams to deliver key planning solutions and supporting technology
• Help contribute to the design and implementation of future architecture for scalable, durable, and innovative systems

What's Needed?

• Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in C, C++, and Python
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles
• Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs
• Familiarity with Linux GPU kernel driver development
• Strong understanding of Software Engineering principles, Data structures, algorithms, Operating Systems concepts, and multithread programming
