Our client, a leading organization in site operations and community engagement, is seeking a Events Coordinator to join their team. As a Events Coordinator, you will be part of the Site Operations Department supporting the Engineering Site Leadership team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Events Coordinator
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Range: $22-$24/hr
Duration: 9 months (potential to extend)
What's the Job?
- Support the Engineering Site Leadership team by driving site operations and community engagement initiatives.
- Plan and execute site events, including logistics, vendor coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate communications, newsletters, and manage operational budgets.
- Collaborate with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and nonprofit partners to foster community involvement.
- Maintain operational excellence across the site through effective management and organization.
What's Needed?
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability to commit to a 12-month assignment, with 18 months preferred.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and leadership levels.
- Experience supporting events, logistics, site operations, or community engagement programs.
- Creative, proactive, and capable of bringing innovative ideas and solutions.
